Meet Terri
Hey there, I’m Terri, a retired professional and Christian. I’ve long been fascinated by the history of Christianity and the Bible. I devote most of my time to studying Christian and Hebrew history. I’ve found that there’s a lot of confusion surrounding the name of God. Sure, we all just say God, Lord, or Jesus in today’s age. Not many know that God has an actual Hebrew name, ‘YHWH’, referred to as the ‘tetragrammaton’. This sacred name was rarely if ever spoken out loud. The two interpretations we have for His name are ‘Yahweh’ and ‘Jehovah’. While many scholars believe in Yahweh, I know in my heart that Jehovah is the true pronunciation. That’s because of the vowel points in the traditional Hebrew text.
In fact, I believe that the teaching of the title Lord is a gigantic mistake. That’s why I’m here to set the record straight and defend the name Jehovah.
